With such a vast array of saddles on the market, it is not always possible to have a numnah or saddlepad that fits exactly as you want it to - but at NuuMed, because we design and make all of our numnahs and saddlepads at our Somerset factory,  if you do need something different, we can make a saddlepad to your specifications - and you can have just one saddlepad or hundreds.

It's a relatively simple process. You send us an outline drawing, from this we create a pattern and digitise it onto our computerised cutting machine. Then we send you a calico sample for you to check and amend to make sure it is exactly what you need. It is only after you have given us your final written approval for the design that we go ahead and make it.

Because NuuMed is such a ‘rare commodity' these days i.e. a British manufacture that still makes all of its products in the UK, this made to measure service is something very few other companies can offer.

Embroidery service

At NuuMed we believe in making life as easy as possible, so if you need a saddlepad embroidered we not only make it, we embroider it, finish it and send it to you ready to use. All of which is much simpler than buying a cheap saddlepad, finding an embroiderer and making sure the quality is right, only to be disappointed - something that some of our customers have found before coming to us.

Our embroidery service is used regularly by a very diverse range of customers: corporate sponsors, schools and colleges, race yards, individual riders, riding clubs, pony clubs, the mounted police, retailers, saddle makers and saddle fitters. Although the requests are often for embroidered NuuMed saddlecloths, we also provide rugs, accessories and clothing on request.
