NuuMed has signed an agreement with the British Equestrian Federation (BEF) to supply numnahs and saddlepads to the British Equestrian teams for the next four years.

Under the agreement the Company will kit out the dressage, eventing, show jumping, para dressage, endurance, vaulting and reining teams at all the major international competitions up to and including 2012.

“We are obviously delighted to be providing the numnahs and saddlepads for our teams – and especially pleased that British competitors will be using products made in GB,” said managing director Rosie Pocock.

This year, sees the European dressage and showjumping championships at Winsdor Castle in August (25-30) and the European eventing championships at Fontainbleau, France Sept 23-27.

In 2010, one of the biggest ever dedicated equestrian events – the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky, USA – takes place. Spanning 17 days, the event plays host to eight disciplines. Plans to get all the proposed British teams over to the event are already underway in what is described as a ‘massive logistical exercise’.
